Re: Pivot vs Rest
I know that this pivot technique is known, but I can't recall having seen many professionals on TV actually use it. I find it hard to tell from watching a video if someone is using pivot english (in German 'Kreuzen') or not, but I know for sure this guy does it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnD0O...

Re: Another Bug
There's one exception in the foul and miss rule:
"...the referee shall call FOUL AND A MISS, unless:
(i) any player needed penalty points before, or as a result of, the stroke being played"
Could it be that this was the case?

Re: Where's my backstroke?
But I do SUGGEST to keep track of the mouse position AFTER the backstroke limit has been reached. When moving further than the backstroke limit, the cue will simply rest at that limit, while the mouse can still be moved further away. When moving the mouse forwards, the cue should only start moving ...

Yes, that's a known issue.
Not sure when it will be fixed though.

Re: 1 Bug and 1 Complaint
When the cueball is anywhere near a ball or a rail the game lifts the cue and thus adds follow. It just raised the butt in old versions. ..If I wanted to play a tad of draw I just had to press E, pull my mouse back a bit and shoot. If I do that now I might end up with a follow through instead of a ...

Re: 1 Bug and 1 Complaint
I don't get that you need to center the tip.
If it's off center that should be marginal.
Or are you talking about the new standard distance aiming?
What's your setting in Settings -> Camera -> Aiming?
If it's anything other than Last Distance, try that.

Re: Recording problem and ghost ball
I assume this happened when playing a career. The ghost ball is on by default in the Pro Tour and Hustler Career easy settings. If you turn it off, it's turned back on every time a new match is started. To get rid of it you could try normal mode, if that's not too tough. Regards the skipped shots in...

Re: Snooker issue on break - black gets blocked too often

Unlikely it's going to happen, even if you write it in all capitals.
This has been suggested before by the testers.
Although.. maybe if EVERYONE wants it ;-)

Re: Changing cloth colours gives two different greens
Almost.
Just that not all pool tables use the same green either.
Hard Times default looks like the green in settings.
If you try for example Hawg Pen with both, default and green you'll see a difference too.

Re: Changing cloth colours gives two different greens
I don't see this as a bug but the option to change the color slightly.
If you don't like the default Snooker green, choose 'green' in table cloths and you may like that one better.
Would you rather elminate the option to choose?

Re: Pro Tour career stats dont add up.
There is a bug in stats. Under certain circumstances they get cleared out.
It will be fixed with the next patch.
It's not very common and if at all only happens to people playing multiple careers.
Is that the case for you?

Re: Vp4 vs. Vp3---what are you going to do/play?
So I decided to start off very easy-going, using a ghost ball ( I feel almost ashamed to admit it ). Guess what? The ghost ball seems to be inaccurate at times. I really hit the ghost ball full in the face and I still manage to miss pots! Can there be a bug? Ghost ball is more a hint than an accura...

Re: Does anyone know the solution to the flickering VP4 issue
There is an issue with some Intel drivers. On my Samsung ultrabook with HD 3000 I have texture issues in tournaments maps, but nothing as bad. I'd try a different driver. The Macbook itself should work with VP4. On my 2007 Macbook Pro with NVidia chip VP4 runs perfectly smooth on the Windows partiti...
